Jesus Youth 2006 - All Kerala Family Gathering witnessed the convergence of over 2000 participants from different parts of Kerala at St. Joseph's HSS, Pavaratty, Thrissur, Kerala from 11th -15th August 2006.  The conference was inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr. Francis Kallarackal, KCBC Vice Chairman and Bishop of Kottapuram. In his inaugural address Most Rev. Dr. Francis Kallarackal exhorted the youth to become the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Rev. Fr Thomas Kallukulam gave the welcome speech, while Rev. Fr. Paul Paippillil (Vicar of St. Joseph's Church, Pavaratty), Rev. Fr. Jacob Njrvangappilly (Prior of the Monastery, Pavaratty) and Rev. Sr. Philo Sudha (Mother Superior - Christian Convent, Pavaratty) delivered the felicitations. The gathering was also blessed to have Most Rev. Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhi, Archbishop of Thrissur celebrate the Holy Eucharist on the second day. On the concluding day, Most Rev. Mar Andrews Thazhath, Auxiliary Bishop of Thrissur, graced the occasion and addressed the participants. Apart from input sessions and group discussions, other events included Parish Outreach, audio visual presentations, Rosary procession along with parishners, etc. The conference concluded on 15th August in the evening.
