An invitation to partner in the vision of the movement
The Jesus Youth, birthed by the Holy Spirit, a missionary movement at the service of the Church, has been growing steadily and decisively, impacting thousands of lives across the world. Currently present in 40 countries, and still expanding, the movement is at the cusp of greater evangelistic growth and a significant presence in the Church and the world. To fulfill the mission of the movement, and the diverse initiatives, there is a pressing need for competent people fully dedicated in its various initiatives. Our various missions worldwide, especially in Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Far East, have been bearing excellent fruits, but are limited only by our lack of resources, primarily financial. Acknowledging your active presence in regions, teams, and groups, wherever you are, you still can become a part of the global movement and its worldwide mission by your contribution to the mission initiatives.
Some of the key missionary initiatives of the movement that require regular financial support are:
»Missionary families: Families moving to other countries on a longer term (more than 3 years) solely to establish and grow the Church in such places.
»International Full-timers: Young people committing one year or more, to be placed in mission countries, to foster and/or continue the mission, especially in universities, schools, and parishes in that country.
»Long-term missionaries: People who have taken a long-term commitment to the movement and are responsible for key areas in the advancement of the movement's vision & mission, setting apart all their time and efforts.
»Mission Homes: Mission families establish a community living, along with full-timers, and priests/religious, in a particular region, becoming a hub for missionary activities in that region/country.
»Missionary Leadership Development: Learning & Development programmes equipping leaders for mission.
In this context, we approach you to consider making a regular contribution to the movement, to be a part of the greater mission of the movement and the Church, and to accumulate the graces from ‘giving’, which will bear good fruits in your life, family, and circumstances. Your contribution will help foster the growth and advancement of the mission.
Acknowledging God as the giver of all that we have, including our finances, we honor him by giving the ‘first fruits’ of our labor, our tithe. The traditional 10% is to be considered as the ‘minimum’ of the ‘maximum’ gift. Many of you might already be tithing to the movement and/or to your preferred organizations and charities. However, accepting our call to “excel in the grace of giving” and to be “cheerful givers”, we encourage you to consider making a regular contribution to the movement.

All contributions will be duly acknowledged with a receipt from the International Office. We would prefer to add you to our network of donors and share a half-yearly report on collection and utilization, along with brief details of mission activities . Your needs shared with us will be prayed for by our 24/7 intercession team at the International Office.
