Month of Prayer

Every year, Jesus Youth observes September 1-7 as Intercession Week. This year, the International Council has decided to extend this spirit by dedicating the entire month of September as the Month of Prayer within the Jesus Youth movement.

As Jesus Youth continues to grow worldwide, we invite you to join a spiritual journey, uniting in prayer for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the future direction of our movement (Matthew 18:20). We're launching the P.U.S.H. Challenge - "Pray Until Something Happens" - to involve every Jesus Youth in this journey.

 

What's the Challenge?

- Dedicate one day in September to step away from life's busyness and spend time in prayer for spiritual renewal and intercession for the Church and our movement.
- Create a prayer space or tent where everyone can spend time with Jesus.

How to Participate:

1. Pick a Day and Sign Up: Choose a day in September to spend with Jesus. Dedicate a few hours to prayer, reflection, and writing down inspirations and desires.
2. Create a Prayer Space: Identify a quiet space for the Blessed Sacrament or a prayer room where members can come and be with Jesus.

You're Not Alone!

- Priests and religious members will pray for you and offer Holy Mass for each participant.
- Sisters will intercede on your behalf as you dedicate this special day to Jesus.
