The 16th batch of the International Leaders Learning Programme and the International Animators Learning Programme were held at the Camillian Pastoral Centre, Bangkok, between 28 June and 11 July 2025. Together, the programmes brought participants from diverse countries for an enriching time of formation, training, and fellowship.
The Leaders Learning Programme (28 June – 11 July) drew 27 participants, while the Animators Learning Programme (30 June – 11 July) gathered 18 participants, including 9 priests, 2 brothers, and 7 lay persons. Recognizing the increasing complexity of issues faced by today’s youth, the sessions placed special emphasis on equipping leaders and animators with the spiritual, pastoral, and practical skills needed for effective mission.
Both programmes were guided by the expertise of renowned resource persons, including Manoj Sunny, Jomy Abraham, Peter Akbar (Haggai International), Raiju Varghese, Dr. Edward Edezhath, Fr. Jerish Abraham SDB, Dr. Midhun Paul, Tomas Michael, and C.C. Joseph.
The formation journey concluded with a commissioning ceremony and Holy Mass celebrated by His Excellency Bishop Paul Trairong Multree, Bishop of Surat Thani Diocese, sending forth the participants with renewed vision and missionary zeal.
