Around 25 senior Jesus Youth gathered for a sacred time of prayer, genuine fellowship, and heartfelt sharing under the theme “Reset, Reawaken, and Reignite.” Together they came back to their first love - Jesus, embraced the simplicity of the JY lifestyle, and reflected on how to grow in holiness and mission in this season of life.
They recognized the call to be mentors and intercessors, nurturing authentic fellowship and embracing ordinary acts of mission. They were reminded to be bold,letting the Spirit move freely; honest- because vulnerability heals more than success; present-because fellowship, not format, is the heart of life; mentors- for younger JYs seek spiritual fathers and mothers; ordinary—where God’s power truly rests; and to be seeds—trusting that even unnoticed, we are bearing fruit.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace - 1 Peter 4:10
