Jesus Youth conducted a pioneering course on Spiritual Direction in Bangalore, India, from August 16-29, 2024, addressing the growing need for spiritual accompaniment within the movement. The Alleluia School of Spiritual Direction from Augusta, USA, led the tailored programme, focusing on Prayer, Growth, and Healing. Twenty participants from 5 countries, including 3 priests, underwent intensive training in the Contemplative-vocative approach, emphasizing prayer and personal growth.

This initiative marks a significant milestone for Jesus Youth, paving the way for the launch of its own School of Spiritual Direction. The course aimed to equip spiritual directors to guide others and deepen their relationship with God. Future courses are planned to integrate Spiritual Direction into every Jesus Youth's life, fostering a deeper connection with God and the community. This endeavour will strengthen the spiritual journey of movement members, promoting growth, discernment, and accompaniment in navigating contemporary challenges.
