We are blessed to witness a privileged moment in the history of the movement as we receive profound messages from Pope Francis and other eminent Church leaders. During the Synodality process, we presented key initiatives to the Church, highlighting our "Listening to the Movement" journey. This initiative, which embodies listening and discernment, has caught the attention of the highest leaders in the Church.

Mathew Thomas, Jesus Youth UAE and Middle East animator, along with Bishop Alex Vadakumthala, Ecclesiastical Advisor for Jesus Youth India, had  introduced this process on behalf of the movement. Church leaders expressed their happiness and shared messages of joy for every Jesus Youth.

We are privileged to receive messages from Pope Francis, Cardinal Pietro Parolin (Secretary of State), Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle (Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples), His Eminence Cardinal Kevin Joseph Farrell (Prefect of the Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life); Major Archbishop Raphael Thattil (Ecclesiastical Advisor for Jesus Youth International), and many more. Their messages of support and encouragement affirm the significant role of Jesus Youth in the Church’s mission, particularly in the evangelization of youth.

Other notable figures who shared messages include Bishop Robert Barron, a renowned preacher; His Eminence Cardinal Filipe Neri (President-elect of the Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences); Cardinal Seán Patrick;  Bishop Paolo Mattarini (Apostolic Cardinal Bishop), and Bishop Alex Vadakumthala. The list of Church leaders expressing their admiration for the movement continues to grow, reflecting their deep appreciation for how Jesus Youth is moving forward.

This support from the Catholic Church represents a great privilege for the Jesus Youth movement. It not only strengthens our commitment to the mission but also increases our responsibility to actively respond to the call of evangelization.

In their messages, the Church leaders highlighted the role of Jesus Youth in renewing the Church’s missionary spirit and focusing on youth evangelization. They share the hope that this process of listening and discernment will revitalize the movement and enhance its presence in the Church as we continue to grow and evolve in our mission.
