The Northeast Communion 2024 in Shillong, Meghalaya, commenced on November 20th, bringing together 80 clergy members, including priests, nuns, and six bishops. The event began with a solemn Holy Mass, setting the tone for days of meaningful engagement.

Discussions were led by Bishop Alex Vadakumthala, Ecclesiastical Advisor for Jesus Youth India, alongside Fr. Thomas Tharayil, Adv. Raiju Varghese, Justin PJ, and other distinguished resource persons. Together, they emphasized the vital role of the Jesus Youth movement in nurturing and empowering young people.

The program concluded on November 23rd with regional dialogues, where participants affirmed their strong support for Jesus Youth initiatives and reiterated their commitment to fostering faith and service among the youth.
