Jesus Youth held its National Assemblies in New Zealand and the UK, marking pivotal moments for the movement in both regions.
The New Zealand National Assembly was held in Christchurch from October 25th to 28th, with 65 participants from the North and South Islands, joined by delegates from Australia. Dr. Midhun Paul led the sessions, which focused on prayer, reflection, and discerning the movement’s future in New Zealand. A key highlight was the election of Marc Tom Mathew as the new National Team Coordinator, ushering in a new chapter for Jesus Youth in the region.
The UK National Assembly took place from November 22nd to 24th with 130 delegates. Dr. Midhun Paul and Abhy Thomas, Chairman of CHARIS England & Wales, led the sessions. The first day reflected on God’s blessings over the past three years, followed by spiritual inputs on missionary discipleship and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Discussions included the JYUK Silver Jubilee in 2026 and the Great Jubilee in 2033. Dr. Midhun Paul coordinated the National Reconstitution, re-electing Pradeep Mathew as National Coordinator. The Assembly concluded with regional vision-building sessions and a Commissioning Mass.
Both assemblies were transformative times of grace, fostering vision, fellowship, and direction for the future.
