The Jesus Youth movement in Kuwait has made a significant stride by launching the African Ministry Gathering, a mission aimed at reaching the African community residing in Kuwait. This initiative, born out of months of prayerful preparation, seeks to share the love of Christ with individuals living in camps and hostels across the region. Through persistent prayer, targeted outreach, and intentional follow-ups, Jesus Youth successfully connected with many from this community.

The inaugural monthly gathering was recently held and exceeded expectations, drawing 48 attendees from diverse nations, including Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Togo, and Cambodia. This diversity brought a unique vibrancy to the event, fostering a strong sense of unity and fellowship. The program featured worship, prayer, sharing of the Word of God, and a small Christmas celebration. Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to gather as a faith community, and many were inspired to invite others to future gatherings.

This initiative marks the beginning of new opportunities for ministry among the African community in Kuwait, while also encouraging existing Jesus Youth members to engage in mission work. The vision extends beyond Kuwait, aiming to inspire and prepare members for future missions in African nations.
