The Cultural Exchange Program 2024, held from December 13 to 31, brought together 262 participants from 18 states in India and Nepal for a spiritually enriching journey of faith and fellowship. This unique initiative was designed to deepen participants' missionary zeal and foster a sense of community within the Jesus Youth movement.

The program commenced with an orientation and a five-day retreat at the Divine Retreat Centre in Chalakudy, Kerala, inaugurated by Fr. Sebastian Arikkatt, Chaplain of the St. Mariam Thresia Pilgrim Centre. Participants encountered the Holy Spirit's transformative presence through vibrant sessions conducted in multiple languages, creating a powerful and inclusive experience.

The participants were divided into groups and sent to 15 Jesus Youth Zones across Kerala. Immersed in the local culture, they actively participated in Christmas celebrations, church activities, and community outreach programs. This phase allowed them to witness the Jesus Youth six-pillar lifestyle in action, fostering a deeper understanding of the movement's mission and values.

The program concluded with a final gathering at St. Thomas Forane Church, Ambazhakkad. The event featured sessions led by renowned national and international resource persons, offering profound insights into evangelization and missionary life. The gathering was graced by Bishops Mar Pauly Kannookadan and Mar Joy Alappatt, along with Fr. Simon OFM Cap. and Fr. Vincy Illickal, whose presence and blessings elevated the experience.

The Cultural Exchange Program 2024 provided participants with a profound reflection on their missionary calling and the church's role in evangelization. For many, it was a transformative experience that strengthened their commitment to faith, fellowship, and the Jesus Youth mission.
