Jesus Youth Pakistan hosted its first National Leaders' Gathering at the Youth Retreat House, Manghopir, Karachi, from 28th February to 2nd March 2025, bringing together over 50 young leaders from the Dioceses of Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, Lahore, and Islamabad-Rawalpindi.
The event focused on deepening Jesus Youth spirituality, formation, missionary lifestyle, leadership, and the growth of prayer groups. Leading the sessions were Mr. Adolf Goldwyn (New Zealand) and Mr. Sibi Joseph (Australia) from the Jesus Youth International Team, joined by Mr. Ayyaz Gulzar, former coordinator of Jesus Youth Pakistan. The gathering included group sharing, discussions, and a plenary session aimed at strengthening regional and parish-level initiatives.
The presence of Bishop Samson Shukardin, OFM, Chairman of the Episcopal Commission for Laity, Family, Life, and Youth, and President of the Pakistan Catholic Bishops’ Conference, was a great blessing. He celebrated the Holy Massand encouraged Jesus Youth to be messengers of hope. He was joined by Fr. Bhuro Mangho, OFM, Fr. Sunil Ashraf, and Fr. Patrick Patras, chaplains of Jesus Youth in Pakistan.

At the conclusion of the event, Mr. Asif Emmanuel, Coordinator of Jesus Youth Pakistan, and Rev. Fr. Bhuro Mangho, OFM, Chaplain, expressed their gratitude to Dr. Midhun Paul, the Jesus Youth International Team, and all those who contributed to the success of the gathering, including Mr. Ayyaz Gulzar, the Bishops of Pakistan, regional coordinators, chaplains, and benefactors.
The gathering marks a significant step forward in the mission of Jesus Youth in Pakistan—igniting a renewed spirit of unity, mission, and faith.
