The month of May always carries a special grace for us as we prepare to celebrate Pentecost and renew our commitment before the Lord. Last week, I had the privilege of participating in the National Evaluation Meeting of India, along with the Coordinators’ Gathering held in Goa. Around 250 leaders from different regions came together for a beautiful time of fellowship, sharing, prayer, and reflection. It was not merely a meeting to review activities, but a meaningful opportunity to pause before the Lord, look back at the journey of the past year, and gather strength and clarity for the road ahead.
That experience reminded me how important evaluation is in our spiritual journey. As individuals, communities, teams, and as a movement, we need moments where we honestly stand before God and ask ourselves: How faithful have I been to the call entrusted to me? Pentecost invites us into exactly that space. It is not only a celebration of the Holy Spirit, but also a moment of recommitment—a time to renew our openness to God and allow Him to strengthen and guide us again for the mission ahead.
As we continue journeying with the grace of the Listening to the Movement process, one thing becomes increasingly clear: the Lord is calling us to a deeper conversion. Not simply external changes or improvements, but a renewal of heart, vision, and mission. This is a time to rediscover our foundations, to return to the simplicity of our call, and to move forward with greater courage, clarity, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. May this Pentecost become a moment of honest reflection, renewed surrender, and fresh strength for each one of us and for the movement as a whole.
