Accompanying the Young — A Sacred Responsibility
In recent months, as I travelled through Australia, the UK, and Ireland, I was deeply moved by what I witnessed — young people, full of faith and energy, finding their place within the Jesus Youth movement. The same vibrant spirit is alive in India and in so many parts of the world.
Everywhere, I see a new generation taking this life seriously, seeking to walk closely with Christ.
These experiences remind me that accompanying young people is not just a mission, but a sacred responsibility. As a movement, we are called to walk with them — to listen, to understand their hopes and challenges, and to create spaces where they can encounter Jesus personally and grow in discipleship.
As you go through this month’s updates, you’ll see stories of the movement reaching new places, new cultures, and new hearts. Truly, we are living in a time of grace.
I invite everyone to embrace this sacred call of accompaniment — to nurture young lives, to strengthen youth ministry, and to build communities of faith wherever you are. Let us journey together, hand in hand with the young, discovering once again the joy of walking with Christ.
