“Here I Am, Send Me” (Isaiah 6:8)
The African Fulltime Volunteers Learning Programme (15 Sept – 5 Oct 2025) at the Jesus Youth Lira Formation Centre, Uganda, brought together young missionaries from Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, and India for three weeks of intensive spiritual and mission formation.
Guided by Fr. Varghese, Sr. Arpitha, Asha Dominic, Santhosh Mathew, Vineesh Scaria, Antony Issac, and Brayan Dumming Dias, the programme offered retreats, leadership training, team building, and mission exposure, shaping participants into mature missionary disciples.
The Bishop of Lira Diocese commissioned the volunteers, affirming their commitment to serve the Church. Heartfelt thanks to Bishop Robert K. Muhiirwa, Fr. Constanz, and all who supported this initiative, making it a vibrant witness to the call: “Here I am, Lord, send me.”
