A New Wave of Hope for the Jesus Youth Mission in Europe
The NOVA RADOST – Slovenia Rejoice Retreat marked a moment of grace and renewal for the Jesus Youth mission in Europe, reflecting the fruit of dedicated missionary efforts by a few committed leaders in Slovenia. Over three days, participants experienced a profound outpouring of God’s presence, igniting hope for a renewed missionary awakening among Europe’s youth.
Held in Ljubljana, the retreat gathered around 40 participants, many of whom encountered a deep spiritual renewal and expressed a desire to journey further with the Jesus Youth movement. The event was organized by members of a local Jesus Youth prayer group that has been meeting weekly for the past six months, led by two Slovenian youth inspired by Jesus Youth Ireland.
Positioned at the crossroads of Western and Eastern Europe, Slovenia offers fertile ground for evangelization and cultural dialogue. The retreat is seen as a significant step forward for the Jesus Youth Revive Europe Mission, calling for continued prayer, commitment, and collaboration to nurture this growing mission.
