Jesus Youth Family Ministry Strengthens Families Across Europe
In October 2025, the Jesus Youth Family Ministry held a series of retreats across Europe, led by Mr. Manoj Sunny and Mrs. Beena Manoj, to renew Christian family life and strengthen the bonds of faith among young couples.
The gatherings — “Amor Familia 2025” in the UK, the Annual Family Retreat in Germany, and the Young Family Retreat in Ireland — offered rich moments of prayer, reflection, and fellowship, nurturing homes rooted in Christ’s love.
“Amor Familia” Young Families Retreat ’25 | United Kingdom
Jesus Youth families from across the United Kingdom gathered for Amor Familia 2025, a retreat celebrating faith, love, and family life. The sessions inspired couples to renew their commitment to Christ-centered living.
His Lordship Bishop Patrick McKinney, Bishop of Nottingham, celebrated the concluding Holy Mass, highlighting the family as the domestic Church where faith and love grow daily. Participants left renewed to build prayerful, joyful, and faith-filled homes.

Family Ministry Annual Family Retreat 2025 | Vallendar, Germany
The Jesus Youth Germany Family Ministry held its Annual Family Retreat from October 3–5, 2025, bringing together 33 families for a weekend of spiritual renewal and fellowship.
Manoj and Beena Manoj led the couples’ sessions with inspiring talks and a renewal of marriage vows, while Sr. Reeja MSMI and Sr. Simi MSMI guided the children’s activities.
Looking ahead, Jesus Youth Germany will celebrate its 20th Jubilee – Lumen 2026 from July 30 to August 2, 2026, featuring dedicated streams for families, children, and youth.

Young Family Retreat | Dublin, Ireland
The Jesus Youth Ireland Family Ministry held a Young Family Retreat from October 17–19, 2025, at Mount Argus Church, Dublin, bringing together 21 young families for a weekend of faith and fellowship.
Aimed at couples married for ten years or less, the retreat focused on deepening marital relationships and family life in Christ through reflections, sharing, and a renewal of commitment.
The program concluded with a thanksgiving Eucharist and a joyful celebration of family life, leaving participants spiritually refreshed and united in faith.
