The Jesus Youth International Assembly was held from November 21–23, 2025, at St. John’s Medical College Annex, Bengaluru, bringing together around 270 representatives. The gathering marked a significant moment for the movement as it discerned the movement’s future direction and elected the new leadership.
The Assembly was graced by His Beatitude Major Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil, His Excellency Bishop Alex Vadakumthala, His Excellency Bishop Joseph Susainathan, His Excellency Bishop Mar Sebastian Adayanthrath, and His Excellency Bishop George Palliparambil, along with many priests, religious sisters, and seminarians.
Central to the Assembly was the culmination of the year-long ‘Listening to the Movement’ initiative, which consolidated insights from national and continental levels. Delegates identified three major focus areas for the movement’s future: Conversion of Life & Communion, Conversion of Systems, and Conversion of Missions.
A key outcome of the Assembly was the election of the new International Council for the 2025–2028 term, entrusted with guiding the implementation of these priorities.
The gathering also provided space for prayer, reflection, fellowship, and celebration, strengthening unity and reaffirming the mission of Jesus Youth. The 2025 Assembly stands as a landmark event, charting a clear and renewed path for the movement’s ongoing growth and evangelizing mission.
